COVID-19 VACCINATION CLINICS 5 through 11 years old

The Mount Rogers Health District, in cooperation with your public school system, is pleased to provide free COVID-19 vaccination clinics for your child, 5 through 11 years of age. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that children ages 5 and up be vaccinated against the novel coronavirus, commonly referred to as COVID-19.

To register your child:

• Complete the online registration here (or visit https://bit.ly/3nShxex) and review the online Emergency Use Authorization for the vaccine by Tuesday, November 9, 2021. If you are unable to register online or have difficulties, call your local health department for assistance.

The Carroll immunization clinic is scheduled Wednesday, November 17 from 3:30 – 6:00 p.m. at Carroll County Middle School.

Parents/guardians of children ages 5 years through 11 years need to accompany their child.

Nominations Needed

Teachers, administrators, colleagues, parents, and students are invited to nominate support personnel employees or teachers for the Employee or Teacher of the Month award. An employee from each group will be recognized each month during the regularly scheduled School Board meeting. The deadline for submission is the third Monday of each month. Please submit your nomination(s) utilizing these online forms. The CCPSD Leadership Team will determine the Employee and Teacher of the Month from the group submitted for this honor.
